One of the lovely things about Oaklands Way is how far off the road the houses are set, it gives a real feeling of space as you drive into the street. At the end of the street the fields and countryside lead all the way down to the Solent so we hope you'll enjoy finding your favourite walks at the weekends.
The long driveway leads to a detached garage with an outside electric hook up and a gate accessing the rear garden which is nice and private. A feature circular lawn is approached over a paved patio area which benefits from a remote control sun awning and there is screening to the rear from two mature conifers.
Internally all the ground floor rooms are accessed off the hallway which has a built in storage cupboard perfect for the Hoover & ironing board. The kitchen has a view out to the front and is fitted with light wood style units with under counter spaces for all your appliances. The wall mounted gas combi boiler was replaced in December 2019, soon after the current owners moved in. Also looking out to the front the sitting room has a full length window overlooking the front garden and a modern recessed gas fire. There is a separate dining room at the rear of the house with door out to the garden, although this room could easily be a fourth bedroom. The largest bedroom is also on the ground floor overlooking the rear garden with the fully tiled shower room across the hallway.
The first floor has a generous double bedroom with built in wardrobes and the third bedroom which is a good single. A door on the landing opens to the front eaves space, giving easy access to storage. There is a further door into a cloakroom so those sleeping upstairs won't need to make trips down the stairs at night. We feel that there is lots of potential to make better use of the eaves space, perhaps adding a full bathroom, or even another bedroom.
