The Mill House which is listed Grade II as being of architectural interest, is thought to have originally been a paper mill and latterly a public house in the 19th Century. This spacious house has attractive English bond brickwork with tiled roof and gabled copings, with decorative chimney stacks adding individuality to this most handsome of houses. Stone mullioned windows with leaded lights throughout a large part of the property add to the external period features. Inside the house has exposed ceiling timbers, oak stripped floors and several open fireplaces, with the drawing room having a particularly ornate carved surround.
